340 MWh combined deployed as a fleet of distributed grid-support BESS units — each site repeatable, bankable and delivered on the same proven SunTera platform.

Jinko ESS signed a landmark framework agreement, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two parties in large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). Signed at METLEN’s headquarters in Athens, the agreement establishes a framework for deploying more than 3 GWh of energy storage projects in Chile and Europe. The collaboration centers on a 1.6 GWh project currently under development in Chile, for which Jinko ESS will supply its advanced G2 Utility Series energy storage systems, with full delivery scheduled for Q4 2025.

Jinko ESS deployed a utility-scale energy storage system for Athens International Airport (AIA) to support its 2025 carbon neutrality target. Upon completion, AIA will become the operator of the largest self-consumption system among airport facilities worldwide and the first international airport to achieve 100% energy self-sufficiency. The project is also Greece’s first utility-scale energy storage system integrated with a PV plant.

 Jinko ESS has successfully delivered one of the largest standalone energy storage projects in Greece to date, marking another major milestone in the country's rapidly growing energy storage market. The project deploys Jinko ESS's 0.5P G2 energy storage system, featuring long-cycle-life cells to enhance system durability and lifetime value, along with advanced grid-forming and black-start capabilities. With a two-hour storage duration, the system provides critical grid support, enhances power system resilience, and facilitates the integration of renewable energy.

Located in Dongguan, China, where the climate is hot and humid, the project has a total capacity of 87 MW / 209 MWh.

The energy storage system features high energy density, scalability, controllability, and flexibility, supporting resilient renewable power generation, peak shaving, and backup power applications.
